I got back to my roots on my way from Split to Dubrovnik (I grew up in the backwoods of Florida). And parking the car in Dubrovnik was the tightest parking job I’ve ever seen.
Then, of course, I just happened to arrive in Dubrovnik for the Start of Summer Festival. Well, this is the land of festivals, so maybe it isn’t that coincidental. During the summer I think every city in former Yugoslavia has a festival every night.
If you’re staying in Dubrovnik stay at Villa San, the apartments are in an excellent location and the owners are super friendly.
